FAQ?

How Does Bidding Work?

  • You have two options for placing a bid:
  • Default Bidding: Clicking the bid button automatically increases your bid by the minimum increment.
    • Custom Bidding: Enter your own bid amount. As long as it meets the minimum bid increase (see FAQ), your bid will be placed.

What are your bidding rules?

  • One key difference between us and other online auction platforms is that we don’t use a proxy bidding system. Whatever amount you bid becomes your immediate offer. For example, if the current bid on an item is $20 and you bid $30, the item will now have a $30 bid—no need to guess someone’s maximum bid!
  • You must be logged in to place a bid, and bids over $200 require a minimum spend of $100.
  • Additionally, our auctions have varying minimum bid increments.
    • Low-Value auctions (Overstock Items): require a $1 increment
    • Valued auction: require a $5 increment, like dash came, printers
    • High-Value auction: require $10 increment, like Computer, Laptop

Can I cancel my bid?

  • Unfortunately, we cannot remove bids unless you are the only bidder on the item. If there is a back-bidder, we can only reduce your bid to the minimum amount above theirs. This ensures fairness by preventing a back-bidder from unexpectedly winning an item they were previously outbid on.
  • Please note, no bids will be adjusted on auction day. If you placed a bid by mistake before the auction day, contact us for assistance.

How can I tell if I have the winning bid on an item?

We use a real-time color code system to indicate the status of your bids without needing to refresh your browser:

  • GREEN: You are winning the item with the highest bid.
  • RED: You have been outbid and are no longer winning the item. You can bid again or remove it from your watch list by clicking the ignore button.
  • YELLOW: This item is on your watch list, indicating your interest. You can easily view its current bid and details from your Watched Listings page.

When do products close?

  • Bidding is open to you while our staff posts products on the website. Please be aware that the precise closing times for the items won't be known until the day of the auction. The end timings are staggered every two minutes, depending on the quantity of things listed, and our system only finalizes them after all auction listings are complete. This process may last till the auction date.
  • On the auction day, beginning at 12:01 a.m., a countdown counter will display the precise closing time for each item, with the exception of extended soft closes.

How precisely do goods close down in the end?

  • For our online auctions, we have an anti-sniping policy in place. This provides you more time to win an item and enables fair bidding for all users, regardless of internet speed. The end time of a listing will be reset to two minutes if a bid is made in the final two minutes of the listing.
  • For example, if a product has 27 seconds remaining until it closes and you place a bid, the closing time will reset to 1 minute.

Once the auction has ended, what happened next?

  • Winning Bids: If you’ve won any items, you will receive an email confirmation with details of your winning bids. Also you can check it in your orders page.
  • Payment: You will be invoiced for the items you’ve won. Payment instructions and methods will be provided in the invoice. Please ensure payment is completed by the specified deadline. Also you download the invoice from the account on the website.
  • Item Pickup or Shipping: Depending on the auction terms, you can either pick up your items at the designated location or arrange for shipping if available. Pickup times and locations will be included in the auction details.
  • Any Issues?: If there are any concerns or questions regarding your items or the process, you can reach out to the auction support team for assistance.
  • Unsold Item: If any items remain unsold, the auction house may choose to relist them for a future auction or offer them for direct sale.

What if I did not pick up an item after winning a bid?

  • Late Pickup Fees: The auction house may charge storage or late pickup fees if items are not collected within the specified timeframe. To avoid these fees, make sure to pick up your items on the next business day after the auction. Late fee will be 5% of your bid amount & storage fees depend on size of your purchased item.
  • Suspension: Your account may be blocked if you fail to collect items. Since this suspension is tied to your driver's license, you will not be able to open a new account using a different mobile number or email address in the future.
  • Refunds: If you’ve placed a bid by mistake, a penalty of 10% of the bid amount will be charged, and the bid will be canceled. To resolve this, you must contact auction support within the designated time frame after the purchase.
